ABOUT THE FOX AND THE THIEF

Alyce Brangwyn is a young woman who's lived her entire life in the confines of the Cross Town Asylum. This cruel organization conducts human experiments on people who have grown animal-like features, such as Alyce's fox ears and tail. One day, she finally finds a chance to escape into Cross Town's seedy downtown. That's when a chance encounter with a foul-mouthed vagrant calling himself "Grizz" changes both their lives forever.

The Fox and the Thief is a slice-of-life story set amidst some of the wildest days of Alyce's life. As she and Grizz navigate Cross Town together, they come to understand the infinite differences and similarities that string us all together. Follow the links to turn the pages of the book, and follow Alyce as she avoids the Asylum's patrollers and learns about the world she's missed. But there's a lot for Grizz to learn, as well...will he be able to step up to the responsibility he's accepted?

The Fox and the Thief is actually the first full novel I ever wrote. The character of Alyce came to me in a dream, and this was my attempt to do good by her beyond the bounds of that dream.
