The world is a nigh-unlivable wasteland. The water is poisonous, the plants and animals have mutated, and global populations have plummeted. But hope is humanity's stock in trade, and just one of many necessities carried by the caravans.
Ace is the leader of one of these caravans. Together, these truckers haul potable water, medicine, and other supplies to the myriad settlements that remain. Alongside Ace are Four-Eyes the gunslinger, Angel the sniper, and Convoy the driver. But when they stumble upon a lost child, one so young that he doesn't have a callsign of his own, what are they to do? Theirs is a dangerous world, and there is no safety they can guarantee for young Michael, no respite from the bandits or the corpse mutts, no matter where they might take or leave him.
ABOUT CARAVAN 1⅝
The world is a wasteland. It's not quite as barren and unlivable as it was just a few decades ago; while the ravages of the chemical weapon "Agent Venom" have left deep scars on the world, a sort of "antidote" has been discovered.
One of the folks who roams this broken-but-healing world is a woman with the callsign Ace. She's one of the folks responsible for discovering the Antidote, and bringing it to the attention and use of the general public. But just because you can turn a mutant dog back into a regular dog doesn't fix all the world's problems. Rather than rest on her laurels, Ace endeavors to form a new squad and travel together as "rangers", freelancers for hire whose general goal is the betterment of the world and the lives of the people who live there. This world is still rife with danger, and may always be, but Ace and her rangers are dedicated to braving that danger.
While Ace endeavors to undo the effects of Agent Venom, however, there is also a group out there who seeks to keep things as they are. Not only will she and the rangers have to contend with their own pasts, they'll have to do something about this Wasteland Preservation Association sooner or later. After all, with such diametrically opposed goals, they're bound to confront one another eventually...
